Insightful handwriting analysis for events

“There is no doubt that men express their character through their handwriting” – Sigmund Freud

About Me

I’m a graphologist with many, many years of experience. From my early curiosity as to why individuals do not write the same, despite being taught a style at school, handwriting analysis had enriched my life with its revelations into their personality and character.

My journey went from hobby to passion to qualification. I have been able to offer my services to individuals and companies, as well as teaching graphology. It has many uses, for example, personal development and couple counselling. I really enjoy offering mini analyses at corporate events as I get the opportunity to demonstrate how ‘we are what we write’!

What Is Graphology?

Like a finger print – each person’s writing is unique.

By looking at the whole sample of writing, because looking at one element in isolation may give a distorted view. In handwriting nothing stands alone.

Writing is the expression of and a response to impulses originating in the brain and it is affected by temperament and intelligence levels
Movement (the process), Form (the product) and the Arrangement indicate how the inner personalities deal with reality – how individuals organise themselves and their interactions with others.

Slant, pressure, zones, size, rhythm and individual traits all reveal different aspects of personality.

Looking at a signature alone may give a distorted view.  It cannot tell age, sex, race, profession or the future

Events and Exhibitions

Who wouldn’t be curious to discover what their handwriting says about them? A ‘mini’ analysis is a proven way of attracting visitors to stands at exhibitions and provides exhibitors the opportunity to engage with potential clients.

If you are looking for something different to offer to your clients consider handwriting analysis. Experience shows it is both popular and well received. Practically, all that is required is a quiet corner with a couple of chairs.

Graphology is not fortune-telling but a brief description of how an individual relates to the world; what motivates them; their self-perception and their reaction to any given situation. Analyses are carried out on a one-to-one basis and are never sensationalised by announcing the findings publicly.

The following is an example of a mini analysis
Handwritten text on white background describes a boat yard visit and tea

This is an extract from the conclusion to the report: Outwardly she appears to be controlled and composed but this belies her inner feelings of self-doubt and personal inadequacies. Her direct, no nonsense approach to life often does not sit well with others but she is shrewd enough to temper her opinions, preferring to keep her own counsel rather than engage in conflict. She is a determined individual who will achieve all that she sets out to, sometimes driving herself slavishly to that end but never at the expense of her duties or friendships.

With about 100 words and a signature I’m able to offer a mini analysis that can both satisfy or arouse curiosity who seek me out.

Signatures

A signature is one of the most practiced piece of our handwriting and indicates a public face.

Bigger signatures reflect someone who has invested a great deal of themselves in their public image. The writer will want others to see them as confident and self-assured (though this may not be the case).

If the signature is considerably larger it suggests over-confidence or pretentiousness. A strong ego may be evident in an exaggerated signature but it could be a mask for inner self-doubt.

Smaller signatures suggest modesty or an underestimation of abilities, someone who does not seek the limelight. However, this interpretation depends on the rest of the writing it could be deliberately fashioned in order to gain advantage!

Tree Drawing Analysis

Tree Drawing Analysis offers insights to personality and character, relatively quickly. Symbolically, trees are associated with an individual’s inner emotional state and development.

Unlike handwriting people are not taught how to draw trees and like handwriting, no two are the same.

TDA reveals emotional development, areas of interest, expression of anxiety and defence mechanisms and provides indicators of past experiences.

With knowledge and practice of TDA it is possible to observe how people perceive themselves and how they act and interact with their environment.  Interpretations of trees are closely related to those in handwriting analysis.

When used with handwriting analysis they can confirm a personality profile or bring to attention traits not always evident in writing.

This tree drawing shows someone who is confident, enthusiastic, can be single minded – may listen but not always hear, experienced some tough times in his thirties that still resonate and perhaps act as a catalyst to keep striving,  is open to female influence and shows an interest in music.

“I was genuinely intrigued when I listened to what Patricia had to say about my tree drawing!  There were some very specific things she mentioned which were 100% accurate, especially the music” – Marcus Fletcher
